Enclave Mike wins the bumper sticker contest with, “Hey Rick Santelli: HONK if you want Jon Stewart to rip you another one.”
Besides the pithy headline and funny video, Mike also reports on important issues. Just this week he hit Metro’s storm water fees controversy, TN GOP hypocrisy, Senator Corker’s union busting, Woody Guthrie, and tax breaks for the wealthy.
We didn’t get the latest stuntbumper sticker issued by the TN GOP, but rather than try and explain it, that sweet Bill Hobbs over at the Tennessee Republican Party simply created what he said was a “special version of the HONK sticker” just for us.
Thanks so much for making the effort, Bill. We had really been racking our brains about where we could go to learn more about nuance. Now can you please explain who’s paying whose mortgage?. We’re still trying to figure that one out.
WTF?
I just don’t get this bumper sticker the Tennessee Republican Party is selling. If someone puts it on their car, doesn’t it mean they are struggling with paying, or have defaulted on, a home loan? Or, couldn’t it also mean that they don’t really need help but are somehow gaming the system? And if they do need help or are gaming the system, why would they advertise it on their car? I must be missing the smackdown through all the nuance.
