It would be worth looking at if it were even less than that.

The point that Anon is avoiding is that because of these disruptive, manipulated people we're not even able to have a rational discussion of policy.

Wouldn't it still be worth looking at if 55% of the population wanted reform?

MM. if you read the fine print in the poll, it provides the percentage of respondents by political party. When compared against the latest information on party representation as a percentage of population, the Republican segment is underrepresented.

Code Pink and Moveon.org, while obnoxious as hell, didn't stand to profit from NOT invading and occupying Iraq the way the industries who are organizing these disruptions are profiting from the system we have now.

I think most would agree that's an important distinction.

And did Rachel Maddow or anyone else do studies of the Iraq War protesters to see who was organizing them? Here's a news flash: most rallies and protests are organized by some larger group. See also: MoveOn.org, Code Pink, ACORN, etc. When there is a liberal slant to the organizing groups that doesn't seem to be the story, but since all the Dems don't like getting shouted down, they blame the groups organizing them, so they can conveniently dismiss the opposition's claims. Classy move there, dissing your own constituents.

How do you know the poll cited undre-represents Republicans?

And what do you think of the manufactured outrage by corporate and political PR firms?

The poll you cited used a population that under-represented Republicans by over 21% which leads me to question the accuracy of their numbers.
