There’s a nice picture of Attorney John Harris, executive director of the Tennessee Firearms Association, on the front page of the Tennessean today.
Apparently, he’s upset because he carries his gun at all times and if Davidson County opts out of allowing permit-holders to carry in parks, he’ll be unable to cut through the grassy area on Church Street to get to his office.
Call the wahmbulance, Harris. At least you have an office to go to unlike more than 10% of your fellow Tennesseans.


Is this the best you can come up with Mary? If your folks see this hodge podge of non journalism, they may ask you to return the tuition money…
Will the TFA distribute color-coded maps to allow permit holders to know what is considered a park and what isn’t? Also, did he cut through there before the whole “loaded guns in parks” thing was legal?
Gotta love the classiness of this blog, eh?
Will every park that the local government has opted out of legal carry have every entrance posted with notice that legal carry is forbidden, or will it be like a series of small town speed traps to licensed carriers walking around towns in TN?
