So let me get this straight. You broadcast on a small (10,000 watts) college station in Nashville, your show is named "Liberadio," and you believe that since the majority of your callers support the veto, you can extrapolate that to mean the majority of Tennesseans also support the veto?

I'm not sure where you got your degree in logic, but you might want to see about getting your money back.

The bill passed in both the Senate and the House, with near universal Republican support and close to 50% of the Democrats voting yes. Do you think they would have done so if they thought their constituents were against the bill?

If your statement that most Tennesseans support the veto is correct, then I expect we'll see a big change in the makeup of our legislative branch, particularly on the Democrat side. However, while most politicians are greedy and a fair number aren't all that bright, every one of them knows how to check the temperature of the water before they dive in, so I'm reasonably sure that you are full of crap.

But I'll tell you what. Find polling data that suggests that the majority of Tennesseans support Bredesen's veto, legitimate data that represents the full spectrum of Tennessee residents, not just the Middle Tennessee college crowd, and I'll buy you and your partner lunch at the restaurant of your choice.
