Yes. I believe the role of government is to protect us from foreign invasion (military), protect private property rights (police) and settle contract disputes (law courts). I believe in the separation of state and economics for the same reasons as the separation of state and church. That being said, I bet we can find a lot of common ground on what the government should NOT be doing. And for those same reasons, I don't think they should be doing anything else! In hopes of talking with you on the air (your show and/or mine!), I am going to answer that question as briefly as possible. Yes.
