Speaking at the 2nd Secessionist Convention in Chattanooga, a man suggests that Sarah Palin used to be a member of the Alaska Independence Party (AIP) and then switched to the GOP to run for office. He also suggests that others do the same to infiltrate the GOP.

A statement on the AIP website says they made a mistake and Governor Palin was “never a member of our party.” What was correct, however, “was that Todd Palin was a member, that Sarah as a candidate for Governor appeared at the AIP Convention in 2006, and sent a welcoming DVD to the membership at the 2008 AIP statewide convention.”

Oh.
