By turning it on you invite people you don’t know and will never meet into your living and, if you’re obsessive about watching the same shows, you get very used to them being there. We didn’t know Tim Russert personally, and we sure didn’t always agree with him. But now he’s gone and our Sunday morning stories will never be the same. Our sincere condolences go out to those who really knew the man behind the flat-panel.
