If a non-Hillary Democrat wins, she's likely looking at 8 years, putting her at 68. And Obama would take it because spending another 8 years in the Senate would dampen his ability to become president eventually or a game-changing statesman at all. This primary is like nothing I've seen in my voting lifetime. I mean, Kerry picked Edwards, and that wasn't even close compared to this.
