I’m sitting here at the Nashville stop of the Fiscal Wake-up Tour organized by the GAO and hosted in Nashville by Congressman Jim Cooper, who, according to Isabel Sawhill of the Brookings Institution, is known in D.C. as Mr. Fiscal Responsibility.
He just announced that George W. Bush will be coming to Nashville on Thursday to participate in a dialogue about the budget.
