Congressman Cohen vs. Citizen Miers

You have to watch Tennessee Congressman Steve Cohen (D-the fightin’ 9th!) on the ex-White House Counsel Harriet Miers no-show. Miers was summoned to appear before the House Judiciary Committee and had the nerve not to show up. Why? Because her boyfriend, George Bush, told her not to.

Congressman Cohen sums up the audacity of Miers and with patriotic outrage references Hans Christian Andersen, the Nixon tapes, and Doonesbury all in one statement. I heart Congressman Cohen.
