About Bill Moyer's Speech:

I was at this speech in Dallas last week for my wife's nephew's graduation. It had a powerful effect upon many who were in the audience. SMU is the heart of privilege in Texas, and Mr. Moyer's words cut to the heart of what most there seem to subscribe to. At the end there was a rousing standing ovation. I looked around the crowd during this response and saw pockets of people not standing or clapping. This confirms exactly what Mr. Moyers was saying this country is indeed broken.
