Summary: This morning we interviewed Ned Lamont on WAMB 1200AM. Ned ran against “He-who-shall-not-be-named” for U.S. Senate in the Connecticut Democratic primary last year and won, only to lose in the general election to the same candidate. Ned’s a smart guy, a successful businessman with degrees from both Harvard and Yale and, we hope, a future politician. During the interview Ned talks about the democratic process, standing for something, the Iraq war, the Dems plan for the Iraq war, Rudy Giuliani, Connecticut’s “Tennessee Envy,” his mom’s blog, and the importance of running for office.
