Turn ON the TV
CSPAN begins a new series tomorrow night: The Capitol. Pop the corn, Honey, we’re staying in!
“…you’ve never seen anything like this before on TV.” - Aaron Barnhart, Kansas City Star
“…works in wondrous ways that only C-SPAN can achieve.” - MediaBistro.com
Beginning tomorrow night, join C-SPAN for our three-part special series, The Capitol. We’ll take you inside the U.S. Capitol for the most extensive view of the Capitol ever recorded for television. Explore the history, art, and architecture of this national icon as we reveal its public and private spaces. We’ll tour the building and hear personal stories about the Capitol from members of Congress, historians, journalists, and curators.
Highlights:
Thursday — An American Icon: Capitol dome, rotunda, and crypt
Friday — The U.S. House: House chamber, Statuary Hall, House Speaker’s hideaway office
Saturday — The U.S. Senate: Majority Leader’s offices, old and current Senate chambers, Old Supreme Court Chamber, Old Senate Baths
The Capitol begins tomorrow, July 6, and airs each night, 8 pm ET, through Saturday, July 8, on C-SPAN.
I hope this doesn’t give Al Qaeda any ideas.
