Preview for tomorrow’s show and latest email newsletter
This Monday, June 5th (7 to 9 am), we’ll interview comedian Matt Besser of Upright Citizens Brigade. Matt will be in town on Wednesday, June 7th, to perform, Woo Pig Sooie, his stand up routine/performance highlighting current issues concerning the separation of church and state (Bongo Java Cafe). Atheists United call the show “a sophisticated and hilarious rant about the idiocies and hypocrisies of religion, rivaling anything by George Carlin or Bill Maher.” And the Atheists should know. They’re a funny bunch.
Turns out that Matt is also the genius behind “May I Help You Dumbass?,” recordings of him giving technical support to the unsuspecting people who misdial a real tech support number.
We’ll also interview Rabbi Cliff Fiedler, current President of the Nashville chapter of American’s United for the Separation of Church and State. I think this may be our first “theme” show!
