During the 2000 election George Bush’s television commercials claimed that a Gore administration would squander the budget surplus through big spending, bringing back the days of high deficits.

Bush and his people lie a lot. The truth is, most Bush supporters simply do not care about the lies. They can lie all they want and those fine “morals” voters will do nothing but make excuses. “Scooter may have lied under oath, but so what?”
