News, Real News

Victoria Hansen on NewsChannel2 reporting on “How may people really wash their hands after going to the bathroom” is not news. “500 ADAPT activists occupied the offices of Congressional leaders for 5 hours Monday, resulting in 104 arrests” is news. Why don’t we know about this? Especially since Senator Frist’s office in Washington was one that was occupied by the activists?

While we’re at it, here are some other stories that you’re not hearing about if all you do is watch local news, read local newspapers, watch Network news, listen to NPR, or watch cable news:

Thanks, Lindsay. This is a fantastic resource. Should keep us all busy for a while…It’s amazing that even those that keep up with current events can still be so in the dark about what is really going on. Makes sense that people still think that Saddam Hussein has something to do with 9/11.
